2. Near I-90, which can take you to O’Hare Airport or downtown Chicago
3. Easier to travel to Wisconsin as you can avoid all the traffic.
Some long time residents of Elgin, Illinois believe that it is not a suitable place to not the place to live if you have children and schools do not have a good reputation. There are many gangs, homeless people and drugs addicts in the area, who do not wish to improve their life, especially in the downtown area. The old Elgin area is poorly maintained. This locality has a large minority population and Spanish is widely spoken.
